About Bill Davino
In 1988, I formed my own label: “Made In USA RECORDS,” and released a cross-over-song called: “Found”. (The (b) side was called: “Lost.”) I was mildly successful with the release. I was able to get airplay (light rotation) on quite a few radio stations. And garnered publicity in Radio & Records, Billboard magazine, and other newspapers.
I accomplished some of my goals and I am grateful to all the good people who worked with me, believed in my music, and wanted to give me a break even though I did not have a major label behind me. All in all it was quite a learning experience. I am still active creatively and now doing things with cutting edge technology that was not around in 1988, which allows me to create videos and produce better songs.
Besides producing music videos which I feature on my Youtube channel, I use this website to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all my visitors, because I am first and foremost, a “fisher of men”.
What if you were standing at an intersection with a friend waiting to cross the street and as your friend begins to take his first step into the intersection you see a car speeding towards him what would you do… You would grab his hand as quickly as you can and pull him back to safety.
This is how an atheist speaking at a Sunday church service described (not in so many words) his view about Christians and their pressing concern in getting the gospel message out to nonbelievers.
He said he would want to be pulled to safety if a car was about to strike him. In the same way he said he appreciates the concern Christians have for him, and the urgency they have in telling people about the importance of the Gospel.
The Gospel teaches that we all have a soul and we will live forever. It says that heaven is real, and that it is a free gift, and there is nothing anyone can do to earn it. But it also says that man is a sinner. Jesus Christ taught that love is the greatest gift we have to give anyone. He said that God is holy, loving, merciful, just, and that He is the creator and judge of us all.
The Gospel also teaches that Jesus Christ came down from heaven to rescue sinners from their sin; and walked among us teaching and doing many miracles. He taught us that we are to love God; and our neighbor as our self, and to love everyone without exception.
Most of all, because He loves us all so much, the Bible says He laid down His life for us, and died for our sins. Then after three days He rose from the dead, so that 'whosoever believes, and puts their faith and trust in Jesus Christ will pass from eternal judgment and inherit eternal life.'
